  so alec baldwin shot a woman dead on set and seriously injured another man.. what do we put this down as?

  a tragic accident?

  maybe ... except that implies no one was to blame.. the more you find out, the more it seems that this was due to negligence and lack of attention to safety.

  Handing out paychecks is soooo outdated. Payroll Direct deposit has been the standard for what 6 plus years? I loved it when you could take a photo of your check within your banking app on your smartphone to deposit your check. But now, I wake up on Friday, pour a cup of coffee hit my checking and savings accounts app and check the hours, etc on ADP. As much as the labor force moves today from job to job and city and state to the next, a paper check is obsolete. At least the WT didn't show a brother paying in cash.

  for some examples consider the following.. the wt literature has many times used odd language where they say one thing but word it in such a way as to suggest something else.

  they have said that a number of jws drew incorrect expectations about a number of things, including about 1914 and 1975, though it was the wt itself which proclaimed and taught those expectations in the wt's literature to jws.

  As a union member of IUOE's, I believe the Democrat's know many union members across the board voted for Trump. After eight years of Obama and his Obama economy many of us were done. Now they are desperately trying to gain support back from union members.

  I went through something similar a few years ago and am now divorced. Read "Women's Infidelity", by Michele Langley, it is an eye opener. One spoiler, is that men have it in their DNA to spread their seed all over the earth and women have it in their DNA to go and gather it up. I also found out that women are like apes swinging from vine to vine in the jungle, they won't let of one relationship go until they have a firm grip on the next relationship.

  How on earth can WT lawyers continue to believe WT has God’s backing, when they see all the deception play out in Court.

  ask us anything.. mr. o'donnell gives his assessment of why wt lawyers continue to defend the child sex abuse cases that the organization continues to fight, even though they see firsthand the deception, the lies, the withholding of facts and dirty tactics used in court.

  WTBTS quietly seeks specific trades through letters questioning CO's or to the body of elders, including lawyers, doctors, dentists, nurses, etc. Since this question is specifically about lawyers, have we thought that perhaps that the lawyers found by WTBTS are not now and were not ever the brightest students of law? Just because you have a law degree doesn't mean you have wealth in your future. Look up statistics of the income of lawyers in their first years. Add in the fact that universities do everything they can to purge and discourage people from getting a law degree. Why? Because there are too many g.d. lawyers in the United States.

  I've been working on the east coast for 6 years now and the billboards and local television advertisements are all about lawyer's services. Driving to work you can see a selection of 6 lawyers on billboards competing to represent you if you were involved in an accident with a semi-truck. Maybe these JW's who are also lawyers found out it is an easier and more stable life to defend WTBTS than having their own law practice and covering the monthly bills. I would imagine that a WT lawyer and their wife or husband are treated more generously by WT than a "new boy" they assign to cleaning. Just like the doctors, dentists, and nurses are.

  It all comes down to the selfish needs of the individual and why they accepted the beliefs of JW's and are volunteers. Fred Franz was an intelligent man that realized he needed to secure his future and he was oh, so creative in weaving history into the bible with a smidgin (ok, a lot) of imagination. Perhaps the lawyers volunteered their legal services in good faith and then years later they start to question themselves about the moral aspects, however, the fact is they cannot go back to their former employment and they are stuck working for WTBTS.

  i’m reservations, pimo elder.

  i’m in no position to leave the organisation, maybe some people will see that as weak or whatever, but we have to all go down our own path in life.. i would like to be able to wake people up in my congregation, how do you think best to do this?
